Passion Conference Draws 20K College Students

More than 20,000 college students from 40 countries are in Atlanta for an annual conference on Christianity.

The Passion Conference is a four-day event where teens can gather in a non-denominational environment to discuss global concerns. This year, students are talking about everything from sex trafficking to homelessness to dirty water.

The conference began Saturday and runs until Tuesday at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. Students were asked to bring new towels and socks with them to donate to homeless shelters in Atlanta.

The Passion Conference headquarters are in Alpharetta just outside Atlanta, but the event is held in different cities each year.
