Probable cause affirmed in alleged sex trafficking

The U.S. District Court in Sioux Falls determined Tuesday that probable cause exists in the case against a Tea couple accused of operating a sex trafficking operation from their home.

Brandon Quincy Thompson, 26, and Megan Marie Hayes, 30, made their first court appearance Tuesday.

Court documents say Thompson and Hayes conspired to sell the services of underage prostitutes by placing ads on an online classified Web site. Three underage victims are mentioned in the complaint.

They were arrested Nov. 20 in Tea.
