An indictment unsealed Tuesday charged a Wildomar man and eight other alleged members or associates of a northern San Diego County gang with sex trafficking of children, authorities reported.
The indictment issued by a federal grand jury on Dec. 4, accuses the
defendants of forcing girls into prostitution between January and November of
this year, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Diego.
Vincent Windsor Heimstra, 57, of Wildomar is the only Riverside County resident named in the indictment. The remaining eight suspects all live in Oceanside.
The defendants are charged with sex trafficking of children by force, fraud and coercion; conspiracy to commit that crime; sexual exploitation of children; and aiding and abetting. Authorities did not immediately disclose the number of alleged victims
or their ages.
